SPARK. SUP YOGA

Fire on the Water:

A Fusion of Serenity and Adventure

Paddleboard Yoga, also known as SUP Yoga (Stand-Up Paddleboard Yoga), is a unique fusion of two popular activities: yoga and stand-up paddleboarding. This practice takes traditional yoga poses and adapts them to the unstable surface of a paddleboard, creating an exciting and challenging experience that combines physical exercise with the tranquility of being on the water.

Paddleboard Yoga offers a refreshing and exciting way to experience yoga while enjoying the beauty of the outdoors. Whether you're a seasoned yogi or new to both yoga and paddleboarding, this practice can be a fun and rewarding way to connect with nature, improve your fitness, and enhance your overall well-being.

JOIN US AT CRABTREE COVE

We meet on Saturdays at 10am at Crabtree Cove Boat Ramp. Classes are on average 90 minutes in length. As part of every class, we will walk you through the basics of SUP, get you comfortable and familiar with your equipment, explain safety tips, paddle out as a group to our destination, anchor in place, and begin our amazing flow.

It is important to be sure to book ahead for class as there are a limited number of slots. By booking ahead, we can also reach out to each participant if there is inclement weather or any emergencies and class needs to be rescheduled or canceled.

Spark. has partnered with Crabby's Bait Shack to provide paddleboards to anyone that doesn't have their own to use. For more information on how you can reserve a board through them, click here.

Things to Know

WHAT TO BRING OR WEAR

  • You will want to wear comfortable athletic or swimwear that you don't mind getting wet. Remember the ABC rule - anything but cotton (as cotton does not dry quickly and is very uncomfortable when wet).

  • Only bring on your board things that they are ok with getting wet. This includes flip-flops, reusable water bottle, etc. You can place your keys or phones in our dry bag, but it is encouraged to leave your phones safely behind and trust us to take great photos!

  • Personal Floatation Devices (PFDs) are not required but you can pack one or wear one if you feel more comfortable.

CANCELATION OR INCLEMENT WEATHER

Your safety is our first priority! We will continuously monitor the weather and lake conditions. If for any reason, we see the conditions are not optimal for a fun, relaxing, and safe day on the lake, we will notify all participants with either a cancelation or reschedule. This is why if is highly important to BOOK AHEAD. In the case that class will be canceled, a full refund of your money will be issued.
